Hi there,

I’m in the process of regrowing the lawn and have noticed it’s started to grow on top of the soil (see photos).

I have a clay based soil and a couple of months ago I aerated the soil and applied gypsum. Do I need to do this again to prevent it from spreading like this? What can I do?

Any advice welcome.

Thanks 😊

It looks like it's growing fine Jessica, just leave it and let it grow. What kind of grass is this? It seems like a runner. When I lived in Oz the only grass we could grow was kikuyu. Yours reminds me of that, and if it is it will soon become quite invasive.
