Help! beautiful emeralds dying

Decided to join this forum when I saw that my inherited emerald green arborvitae are starting to die!
Please help

But not all of them are so scraggly looking, several are magnificent..but also have yellowing..:(

Could you tell us a bit more about the problems you've been having with it - when did they start, any change in conditions, etc?

No just the season change but this seems to be more than winter burn..also I’m not sure what the previous owner did we just got them at the beginning of the month..

I don't see much of a problem. The USA is a big place so extrapolating your winter conditions is tough for the rest of us. Looks like you only have visible damage on one side. If that's the windward and/or the sunward side, then no biggie. Cut off the damaged leaves and water normally. The tiny-weenie little black dots at the ends in the last picture are probably cones in the making.
