Really happy to be a member of this site. Me and my life partner have had a small vegetable garden for a couple of years now and it is going well. This year our big challence is to create a bed of different perennials. So we are very excited to see how that will go.

Well, we have chosen some dahlias, calla lilies and asiatic and trumpet lilies because growing them from bulbs should be relatively easy for beginners, I guess. But we also decided to have some Carpathian harebells, coneflowers, heleniums, rock rose, edelweiss, penstemons and asters. The tricky part is that we want to grow all of them from seeds, because I simply don`t like the idea of buying plants. I like to grow my own plants, it feels emotionally more rewarding and more interesting. I`m not sure how it will turn out but we`re giving it a try.
