Welcome to the forum, any particular fruit? We have a plum tree, black currants, strawberries, gooseberries and a fig in the greenhouse. I guess some things would have problems if you get a full on zone 6b winter, but you get good Summers from what I can see, and most tree fruit is pretty hardy, or can be given some protection.

I always grew strawberries that I found in gardens I moved to, but recently have been looking at more choice. One person recommended having an early, a mid season, a late season and two perpetuals, that wat there would always be three types fruiting, in case one was having a bad year. That's a bit much for me, but I got a Malling Champion and I am impressed by the length of time it has been fruiting. It has also given me a number of runners.
