I planted some bare root foxglove December 2020 and last summer they popped up. 1 flowered in its first year. They others grew big and bushy and healthy and came back this year ready to flower. The one that flowered last year went to seed and I have a ton of foxglove coming up in one area. What do I do with all of these? Do I pull some out? Do I let it go and let them compete? I transplanted a few dozen to different areas of the border already to see how they do and most are holding up ok. They are surrounded by impatiens that my wife put in a little early this year.

Yes, thinning them out a bit will help those left to do well without too much competition. We have white and purple ones this year, only one purple flowered last year.

Do any of your friends have Foxglove? Some could be given to them.
