Flies on my garden plants

Hi I have lots of flies on my garden plants how can I get ride of them

You mean regular flies or something else? If you put a water bowl out with alot of dish soap in it, the flies will go to drink and die.

Definitely try to get a picture and ask what kind they are! I had these shiny green flies SWARMING my garden. Then I found out that they're a local beneficial insect that was feeding off all the fungus gnat larva that was infesting the garden.
