Hi everyone! I'm so excited to have found this place. My husband and I planted our first garden this year and while we are glad we did, we certainly have some learning to do! We live in the Midwest and planted lots of green beans and tomatoes :)

Anyways I can't wait to learn and have an even better garden next year!

Hi there and welcome to the forum. You will always find lots of news, stories and support here. Being a new gardener is a good thing, you just have to reign in the enthusiasm sometimes. My first garden was way to big to survive and I grew all the wrong things in it as well. Spend the rest of this year building a raised bed (it makes weeding easier) and then research exactly what plants grow best in your climate and what they need in order to grow well. That way you will be ahead of the game for next year!
