So little to watch on TV that I find interesting.
But yesterday I did find, "The Gardener" a six part series on Netflix. It's Spanish but dubbed into English, which was done well. It held my attention, so I binge watched it.

Elmer's mother, played by Cecilia Suárez, reminded me a bit of Carolyn Jones, who I remember first made an impression on me, when I first saw her in "Bachelor Party," in my teens. More recognisable for younger readers for her playing Morticia, in the Adams Family on TV.

At the conclusion of episode 6, there's hints, that there will be a second series.

I watched "Glorious 39" on BBC on Friday. It had an excellent cast, although parts of the plot seemed rather far-fetched. But what annoyed me was that a gramophone record (with an incriminating conversation on it), was sent in the post in an envelope.

This was ridiculous as in 1939 gramophone records were made of shellac, which wouldn't have survived in the post packed like that.
In an earlier scene, another record was dropped, which obviously broke!

"Unbreakable" 78s weren't produced until some time during WW2, but not in England, they were made in the USA.
In the UK, shellac 78s were still available in 1957, although some of the same recordings became available on 45rpm records.
