O.K. I work at Lowes and up till a week ago worked in Lawn an Garden. Most of the fertilizer is Miracle Grow, does anyone know enough about fertilizer to know if Lowes carries any good fertilizers.

Jobes has organic and I think it is sold there. Tomato tone too I believe. Scotts, which owns miracle grow, also has organic lines for lawn and garden.

I switched from Miracle Gro to Osmocote granules. Mix it in once and your done for the season!

I was upset at not finding my plantprod 20-20-20 anywhere this spring. Lowes and other places have seemed to have gone miraclegrow crazy. I'm sure that's the big seller for them. I did find plantprod 18-25-17 which is close enough I guess. I do use greenearth when I plant the toms and the Jobes every couple of weeks. So far feeding the toms with the plantprod 18-25-17 a couple times a week is showing good results. My toms are in pots so they require heavy feeding.
