Elderberries

Thinking of planting a bunch of Elderberries. Looked at tame ones but they wanted too much.

Think I’ll just order from the Conservation Department again. They always do well and a lot cheaper.

Shoot I’m just wanting a Pie and or Jelly. Could make wine.

They grow wild here, most people just go down the local common to pick them. Did you know they produce a hormone that stops other elder plants growing in the same place? There was a commercial grower on the radio who said he left the field fallow for three years and fertilised before replanting, and most died and the others didn't do well.

Oh they grow wild here but I don’t get around well so why not.
