Eggplant? please ID this

So I putchase a seed online and I notice these spines on the leaves, I research and I came up with “naranjilla” which is a solanum family like this one

Is this the same? But the packet shows like in the pic, long purple eggplant..

Thank you, I always thought eggplants does not have thorns at all, this is my first time seeing it :D

I’ve grown 4 or 5 types of eggplant. That looks exactly like mine did, and yeah some varieties have thorns that will cut you.

Good. I won't plant them if they have thorns. I absolutely hate anything with thorns. Just warmed to roses and raspberries.
