Hello,

Can someone please help me identify the problem with my peppers?

Maybe I sprayed too much white oil on them to stop the aphids and this has damaged the leaves?

Or is this something kind of pest?

Here's a picture:

I'm guessing its sooty mold.

Maybe the oil helped the mold grow quicker?
I've had it before too and there are plenty of aphids here also.

Make sure the aphids are dead. They may be back if their eggs are hiding.

The leaves are also a bit chlorotic, and curling with stress. There is a very good chance that pot is too small for the pepper plant. They can have huge roots as they come from a place where searching for water and nutrients deep was the standard.
