Blackberry Bushes- Rabbits.

There are two large healthy blackberry bushes in the garden. The snow has receded enough to allow for pruning. Upon inspection it was discovered the rabbits had cleaned all the bark off every stem for about three feet. I simply cut them off and will cover with chicken wire next Winter. So sad, since I was hoping for a bumper harvest this year.
