Not really, they've evolved to grow in extreme conditions in the desert so they won't do well in low light. They tend to grow too long and thin and then fall over.

I've started putting a layer of single ply toilet tissue on top and putting the seeds on that. Makes it easier to see the seeds and when they germinate they put their roots straight through.

I pinched the idea off another Youtuber but without putting my fingers through the tissue by not wetting it first
