So I just germinated some baby bambino carrots. Does anyone know what those two outliers are that are circled❓ Also any growing tips besides loose soil❓

MUCH MUCH MORE LIGHT. The carrots are extremely leggy and will never make a carrot. Replant. Carrots can be transplanted with great care but are really unsuitable for transplanting.

I'd throw them away and start again in the spring. Getting a bit late in the year to sow carrots now unless you get an autumn sowing variety.

No. Plant the seeds outside, but remember that carrots are a cool weather plant. They don't like HOT weather at all. I don't know the temperatures in Chicago.
