Avocado growth diary

Hi I started this avocado plant about 6 months ago and it’s doing so well. It’s gone through some stuff.

I do a lot for this guy. I cut off any white spots (mold or fungus) I see every few days, I spray it with a neem oil solution, and I put a drop or two of apple cider vinegar in the water to prevent growth of things that aren’t supposed to be there.

August 15th 2023 it looks like this! I should name the plant soon.

Yeah it was stunted from a mold that took a long time to get under control!

August 21st and the plant has exploded with growth in baffled at how big that leaf is!

If you put it in a one-gallon pot of potting mix it would grow more leaves.

I was told to wait until the plant was 6 inches tall to pot it. Is that not right?

October 5th growth update. I’m super surprised about how much it’s grown. It seems to like to get bushier instead of taller which is just fine with me.

Im a little worried about one leaf that has a little bit of a dry area around the edges. Could it be a deficiency in something?

I made another thread about the issue as nobody had responded here and the problem keeps getting worse with all leaves but two now being dead and having to of been cropped of.
