A lovely day out Edinburgh Botanical Gardens

Today part of my birthday treat and lunch out to .

Birthday was Friday but had day out today.

And it was so nice to see all the rhodendrons in bloom .

Mine are just in bud.

I loved their tufa wall of plants.

Rhododendrons remind me of my childhood. There is a big park full of them in a city where my grandparents live. I used to spend every sumer there

The rhododendrons are all in bud around here so I'm looking forward to them coming into bloom very soon.
