Thought I'd share a few of my plants that have bloomed in the last few days.

I started this Dianthus "Arctic Fire" from seed last year and was glad to finally see it begin to bloom! I planted it along the edge of my pond.

All lovely flowers but the blue-eyed grass is really intricate and beautiful.

Nice. I have dianthus, spiderwort, iris, and blue eyed grass growing around the yard as well. I didn't plant these either; they came up from spreading seeds thanks to birds and the wind ;)

You are lucky to have them for free! Blue-Eyed grass and Blue Flag Iris in particular are two of my absolute favorite flowers. It's been so long since I've seen them bloom now, I can't wait until next year.

Wow!!! They are really beautiful flowers and we do not have this kind of flowering plants in our garden. Thank you for sharing this pictures and they are really lovely to look at :)
