There are six plants starting to produce. The pepper are picked as they ripen and left in the greenhouse to dry completely. They are then blended into a powder and used as a condiment or supplying some heat to a culinary dish. The plants are prolific and the peppers are a reasonable size with a heat rating of 50,000 Scoville units
