Eight pounds of gooseberry were made into 7 liters of juice. Two types were mixed American and European. I found when inverting the jars after pressure canning causes all lids to seal. Serendipity. The berries are slightly sweet and are juicy so only a small amount of water was added. Picture depict the procedure

My gooseberries are already gone. I seem to miss them a lot, however, I can't have the sugar that they require in the recipes. takes a lot!
