most Herbs will try to escape. True
Mint certainly, oregano yes, sorrel can go a bit wild, but I have no problems with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme (starts humming Scarborough fair), Chives are okay as long as you take off the flowers, I let them go to seed once and they popped up everywhere.
Various plants seem to get called marjoram or oregano fairly randomly, sometimes with suffixes like 'Greek', I'd go by the Latin name when buying.
Keep different flavour mints separate, if the roots mix they lose their special flavours and all become just mint.
Board rots, and some things like mint can go through them, I find artificial roofing slates are good.

I'm thinking just put Spearmint in my Bed.

I have Peppermint but think I'll have it in Container.

I have some in the Greenhouse and had Spearmint about 3 foot trying to travel.

Basil is to be planted everywhere and Green Onions and Garlic to ward off Bugs.

Got bunch of Herb Seed and I was surprised most is perennial.
