For years we've been getting this, £100 from the DHSS paid into our bank accounts, to help with our energy bills being as how we are pensioners. I never ever saw her £100, it probably got spent on glue and other craft stuff.
This year I was surprised to find that my £100 will be increased to £200. I guess the DHSS must be aware how much "I had to pay" for my complete new set of golf clubs, woods and a new putter and a new leccy trolley plus the complete set of nets and curtains for the house this year.
Sadly my wife won't get more than her £100, she asked me why? I said, "I guess they think you've got enough glue," (though come to think of it I usually order and pay for it on eBay).
