When to plant?

I just built a 12x4 raised bed (I'm in south east Michigan) for fall crops; Brussels, broccoli, radish, beets and carrots and I have started my vroccoli inside but I'm wondering, it's still hot obviously but would it be okay to direct sow halfway through August?

I found this as a general help for you. I live in Alabama so no comparison is useful in a situation where our seasons are so different.
