What's growing out of the top of my cactus?

Just another "limb". Keep it up and you will have a LOT more in a year or two. That's what they are supposed to do

Do you know the name of your happy cactus ? by the looks of the main plant it might get to be a tall cactus in a few years.

Wonderful! That's the way the cactus grows. They keep having limbs that goes one above the other.

No, I don't. We did a project at school on axesual reproduction and someone gave me their little cactus because they didn't want it. I also got some radish plants and some beans and they're happy little plants. I'm surprised any of them lived because the experiments was to see if the plant survived if you put weird things on it like milk or salt or energy drinks. Haha I feel like I rescued them because everyone was throwing them away instead of taking them home. So yeah. That's the little guys story.
