Echeveria, yes they flower, I have one flowering now. and after they finish there's not much left of the plant.

Its a flower and it will make seeds and then die.

Yes I concur, an Echeveria. Similar pale-leaved species include E. colorata, E. elegans, etc., but there are also many hybrid cultivars.
When it does flower, a more precise identification may be possible. Echeveria flowers are beautiful in their own right, and quite popular with hummingbirds.
Just to note, a well-grown Echeveria rosette is quite perennial and will not die after flowering. Some of the previous posts seem to suggest otherwise.
