Went hillwalking this afternoon

In am it started off same as yesterday very windy.

But after lunch it got calm and turned out a warm afternoon.

So we decided to drive to Glenn Doll then walk into Corrie Fee .

In am I bought new hillwalking boots but used my old ones for the walk.

I am breaking them just now and singing. These boots are made for walking.

I love the violet flowers - is it a moor? Ever since I read Wuthering Heights, I've always dreamt about living near a moor.

The violet flowers are real Scottish purple heather and not a moor but a Scottish Hill

Woah, I loved the picture of the forest and the tiny pink flowers A really lovely place, thanks for sharing! I've always liked the idea of going for a walk and exploring that kind of places, sadly that can no longer be done where I live... now we have houses where there used to be a forest
