Just an observation, I had always done over head watering, but was worried about how much was evaporating before being absorbed and powdery mildew. I took nozzle off and stuck in center of garden and found it traveled through the network of vole holes in my garden and spread throughout garden from one spot, I also always appreciated how voles aerate soil. They're only interested in eating my crops in the dead of winter when there's nothing else to eat so I leave them alone with the exception of the ones my cat gets. I just thought it was especially awesome that I had free irrigation tunnels in my garden.

If only more people could see just how much we can work alongside the helpful side of animals and insects that share our gardens. (y)
