UK Weather/Temperature today in your area?

Forecasts for most of the UK seem similar to mine today - around 16 - 17 C.

Yet here it's been reading 22 C in the shade for most of the day. There's a gentle breeze and cloud blows over fairly regularly helping to keep things cooler, but it must be well into the 20's in the sun. Not according to the forecast tho' - they're still insisting it's 16 degrees.

What about where you are? Wondering if this is just a local weirdness.

I'm further north than you Susan, my nearest town is Beauly, but it was 19C/66F in the shade here today. My area always has fairly high humidity summer and winter which makes a difference. The forecast I use comes from the village I live close too and the temperature is nearly always right. I don't bother with the national forecast, it's hopeless.
