Hi all. My wife and I are excited to be planting some new Toad Lillies in our new yard. They are gorgeous!! We also are going to be planting some Tiger Lillies in the yard. We found some called, "Double Tiger Orange." So beautiful!! I hope they grow well. I do like the Toad Lily for it's gorgeous color and design but I really like large and beautiful flowers and am on the hunt for some that are big and gorgeous!

'True' Lilies (Lilium) and Toad-lilies (Tricyrtis) are both wonderful members of the Lily Family (Liliaceae) that offer stunning flowers in season. This is usually early summer for Lilium and late Summer or Fall for Tricyrtis. Overall their care is similar, though Tricyrtis are generally more shade-tolerant than most Lilium.
