TOMATO IN CONTAINERS

I am growing cherry tomatoes in containers that are 7 gallon, 12 in diameter and 13 in deep.
how much alum sulfate to change PH from 7. to 6.5?

Try a teaspoon per pot to start. A tablepoon may have you below 6. Those pots are roughly 3\4 of a square foot. 113 square inches vs 144 in a sf.

Why are you needing to change the pH? If you are using a peat base potting mix your pH would be in the 5.8 to 6.8 range.

I am also going in containers. have three plants from a friend who starts his from seed. limited sun spots, but three are located where sun is. not planning to do anything to the soil at all. staked with cages . see what happens.
