No, those things are bathing machines, ladies used them to get into the water to preserve their modesty :)

Beach huts are just places to chill out on a day at the beach, us poor folk have to make do with shelters with benches in them :D

Which beach?

Beach huts were also for modesty - just on a more permanent basis.
Our pictures were taken at Tankerton. We often drive over there to walk the dogs - there is a whole bunch of Westies (highland terriers) Lucky and Tinker have made friends with, and there is a nice easy walk by the sea all the way to Hernia Bay :joyful:
