Go for it, I'm surprised the ice tundra hasn't taken over and the polar bears eaten them already in the North East

take a look at them, better to get them before bad weather and slugs do

Yeah, when the vine starts to die. I waited til it was dead and dry, in around July, and the biggest potato was already rotten.
