Greetings from Arizona-

last year one of my friends came from Britain and took back some sunflower seeds that she couldn't access there.
Sadly just as their heads started to develop a large wind came and wiped them out and now she won’t be able to
Harvest any seeds. She is heart broken. She also has COPD and is under lockdown with a miserable fall and winter ahead of her. I would like to send her some seeds but I don’t know if this is possible. Can anyone advise me on if this is possible?

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum @Ltews2001 . What a kind and thoughtful thing to do for your friend. I have found generally that sending seeds is very easy to do in a regular envelope, usually inside a greetings card enclosed in a bit of tissue paper. Nothing ventured, nothing gained ;)
Do you know the variety of sunflower you want send?

Thank you. I was going to ask her if she kept the package they came in she mentioned Giant so I’m thinking they may have been mammoth ones. I will give it a shot

I sent seeds to a member in the UK. It took over 3 weeks and it was way before Covid. I sent them in an envelope.
