Good afternoon
Am wondering if anyone can help in identifying what I have growing in my yard. We had soil delivered and a short time later this sprouted.

Greetings Janetn, welcome to the Forums.

This is a most intriguing plant. It may be a type of Amaranthus, but it is different that any I know.
Another possibility is that it is a form of Copperleaf (Acalypha wilkesiana), but again, it is not quite like any cultivar that I'm familiar.
The plant seems to be developing bright pink bracts in preparation for flowering.
