These are International Kidneys, they're a first early variety grown in the seaweed rich soils on the island of Jersey.

They are origin protected so can only be called Jersey Royals if they are grown there.

Oh yes, those potatoes are coming along nicely!
I "dibbled" (a term taught to me by a Scots gardener) our potatoes this past week, but no little babies yet. I always get ahead of myself and want to find baby potatoes, and then have to wait.

I earthed up my outdoor potatoes yesterday, as a frost was likely, (and happened this morning) so I'm afraid there's nothing to see.
