A row of Yukon Gold potatoes was planted. Row spacing is one foot on each side of the seed potatoes and in the row about 12 inches apart.This allows sufficient room for hilling. Each seed potato is marked with fiber glass rod. This is to facilitate watering and to locate the center of the plant when digging. Expectation is about 5 pounds per plant if the weather accommodates.There are about 20 plants.
