Seven Brussels Spouts purchased and put in the greenhouse to establish good roots were planted in the outdoor garden.Usually Jade Cross is grown, these had no name on the label. They can be left in the ground until frost if desired. Seven plants produce a lot of sprouts, and they can be taken from the bottom of the plant for the table during he growing season.
They require little care and are well mulched to reduce moisture deprivation.
