Hi, my father planted this tree many years back and always maintained it was Plum. Others have said Cherry. It has never fruited up until last year where I placed some flowering cuttings from both Plum and Cherry below. Some small green fruits appeared but it soon dropped them. The same happened this year. The are splits in the bark and it has very few leaves on the lower branches. I'm wondering if it is worth keeping or replace with a more vigorous tree.
