Hi! Does anyone know what kind if tree this is? Tall, columnar, not super heavy, can be used a a privacy tree along fence lines? The closest I can find online is a hybrid willow, but I dont think that is it. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Sorry, I really don`t know this tree. I asked Zigs to have a look and he doesn`t think it`s a Willow. There are many weird and wonderful plants in the USA that we simply don`t see here. Maybe one of your fellow countrymen will have a clue.

Welcome to the forum @Konasully :) ........ have a look at Acacia confusa

I don`t think this is a fastiagate tree though.

It's Afrocarpus(Podocarpus) gracilior, Fern Pine. Yes it can be trimmed like a hedge or made into a tree. If you let it go it can get 60'+. It's hardy to mid-teens or so, but it will show burnt tips below 25. Where it's hardy it grows somewhat slowly (12-18" per year) unless well fed and watered. Allowed to become a tree the 'gracilior- becomes very evident. All-in-all a lovely plant.
