I cut down a white oak today that might have become a pain at some point. It's not very big but I cut it into about 4' lengths so I can put them into some shade and see what kind of mushrooms I can grow in it. No expectations just having a bit of fun.

My plan is to drill holes in them and when I go on my walks and see fungus growing on wood that looks nice I'll take some and hopefully it will grow on this. It's not something I've ever done so to me it's just more for fun to see if anything grows. I don't even know if it will grow on green wood. Maybe sounds silly but sometimes it is more fun trying something new to see what happens rather then researching the answer. Silly I guess but I like the anticipation sometimes.

Shitacks or something like that we have a drill bit and a deal to put the spore in then we seal it with Pariffin.

We're needing to redo some logs.
