I'm an OAP and have recently moved. I had a vegetable plot at my previous place, covered with netting and canes. Got a lot of enjoyment from growing carrots and other..... not so much enjoyment from slugs, not so many though, they died happy, Guinness

I am experimenting with carrots in buckets. Totally pest free, but I tried too many the first time, second grow now underway.
