New in SoCal

[cpp gardener]

Hi all. Just found you and thought I'd join the conversation. I'm a Gardener Specialist at Cal Poly Pomona and lifelong gardener(plant nerd).I have a BS in Ornamental Horticulture from this university and worked in retail nurseries for 20+ years in inland SoCal. I've been at Cal Poly for 16 years in the landscape services department doing most all the different work involved from edging lawns to pest control to gardening seminars. At home I only have plants in pots now
but I have had yards with room to grow stuff and collected lots of different types of plants. I hope to help other gardeners and learn from the rest of you. If you stop learning you start dying and I'm not ready for that yet.
