In September 2015 I posted my catastrophe when the neighbours tree squashed my echium.:mad::confused::cry: Every one was so supportive and understanding which I really appreciated. Thank you all:love:. I staked it, with some help and planted another one in front. Just recently I looked at it and I

actually think it looks pretty good, I think reminiscent of a "clouded" plant. Do you think i could pretend i meant it?;)

Yes Becky. I was considering just pulling it out and starting again but think I'll work on it. It has all new growth so really wants to become a show piece again:LOL:. It was quite spectacular when in flower.

Echium flowers are both beautiful and excellent food for honeybees. Any irregularities of shape would be forgiven when the plant comes into bloom, ... and how creatively observant to compare the form to Niwaki or Japanese cloud pruning.
