Another example of using what you have to display your plants.

I use tea cups to Pat but have small flower pots sitting in them.

Do you have drainage holes in them

I have a very old teaset I use of my late minlaws.

I love this idea! Teacup gardens look so cute and funny!:) They make a perfect home decoration.
I wish I had a really big teacup, so I could plant a miniature rose in it:D

I have see the teacup planters before but I had forgotten what a delightful idea they are. Its certainly easy enough to pick some up at a garage sale for not too much money.

Tea cup planters are one of the few containers that weren't intended for gardening that do actually look very good  It's such wonderful idea, but I'd worry about the drainage.

These look cute, but my local Walmart has planters that are shaped like giant teacups, so I'd rather buy one of those and have something that looks like a teacup but has the size and drainage of a planter.

That is so cute and you can go to a thrift store to get a bunch in different varieties and for very cheap. I am going to try and grow some herbs in the kitchen with this method...how fun!

This is an exciting and fun way to garden. You could put these in all areas of your home. This week I am going hunting for tea cups. What are some of the recommended plants for this kind of gardening?

I think that only small plants can be grown in teacups. Herbs would be perfect:)
Newt year, I'll try to plant a few violets in teacups and I'll put them everywhere in my house. I'm sure it will look wonderful. I love violets, because their scent is very sweet:D

These are very pretty! It's such a shame that I cant have teacup planters at home because I have a very naughty nephew. I also have three cats who love eating plants and climbing on everything. They will just topple these planters off. :(

Those are so cute! What a great gift idea. That is one I will stow away in my brain for future use for sure. I like how they are so colorful compared to regular little pots.

This is such a wonderful idea using tea cups! My next trip to the Thrift Stores I will look for some cheap ones that are big enough to use to plant some herbs or some cacti.
