Middle TN gardens

New construction home, about 2 years old. Mostly stone and very poor soil in the yard. Tried to have something pleasant to see from the windows.

MIddle TN gardens

I have been chipping away, with low budget, to add a little color to our yard and to provide a few seasonal veggies and some pretty flowers. The two small gardens are beans, tomato, peppers, cukes and squash.

The front finished bed is Mums, Hostas, a few tulips, some lillies and the like. Around the mail box are roses, and some ground cover, and a Lily or two.

Really nice areas. The splashes of color look lovely. Keep chipping away. I think most of us have to manage to do things as economically as possible and I find now that my garden is getting a bit established I can do cuttings and transplant ground covers that are spreading like ajuga and allium. Also it's great to swap cuttings with friends. Shame we all so far away from one another.
