Our cat Phantom, suddenly passed yesterday, he would be 12 this summer. No signs of anything. always appeared very healthy, happy, joyful. Was just at the vet for his yearly check up, all well. still in shock.
He leaves his brother Teddy, and his mother, and his uncle Panther and aunt Susi,

So sorry for your loss! It's always tragic when they leave just like that, my other dog left just like that, so I can understand your pain. I hope you guys can find some solace in the fact that you gave him a great life. Best of luck with everything!

Phantom and his uncle Panther were always together. Each knew where each other was at all times. There did not seem to be an outward showing of "something" from Panther as Phantom laid on the deck. wondered about that. Took time to dig the hole in the garden and find appropriate wrap for him. Still cannot imagine him lumbering through the gardens and he did following me places. Such a pleasant soul he had.

Dear Esther, so sorry for your loss, you have my deepest condolences.
I do believe that our animals know and sense our love for them and that we can keep them close to us in our hearts and fond memories.
I wish you strength and peace in the days ahead.

As a cat owner myself I can definitely understand how much of a part of the family they become. I'm sorry for your loss - it sounds like Phantom certainly was a well loved cat.

Awww, I am so sorry for your loss!
I had my cat(that I grew up with) for about 15 years, and at one point she had to stay at my grandfather's during a move, up in the mountains. Because of that, and her being an outdoor cat, she ended up getting torn up by wolves. It was a rough time for me. I hope you feel better soon, and always keep Phantom in your heart! :]

So sorry for your loss, and it will take a while the shock to settle down.

On the other hand, at least he is not suffering as far as we know!

Very sorry for your loss. It's very hard when you loose something you love so very much. I lost my little friend Kit the Corgi earlier this year, she was my backyard buddy.

Sorry about this. We have had 6 cats go since we moved here. 4 died of old age and 2 just disappeared (never found any trace of them either) so we know how hard it is.
