I am 99.9% sure this is a weed and I orginally thought dock leaf but I don't think that's right, I usually pull it up yet I got a bit lazy this year and now it stands at 4ft 10" and I am reluctant to remove it from an area that's usually baron.

You are completely right, I had convinced myself it was a weed as I haven't been planting anything in that area.

o_O Wow that's a huge digitalis. I'm actually jealous now. Every single year I go thought the trouble of sowing, caring for plant and transplanting digitalis to my garden and not a single plant self seeds and here you have them growing as a "weed". Think I'm gonna cry now

Going to upset you even more then. I spend as much time pulling them out as I do on any other weed. They are everywhere!

That is a huge one, and I can't believe that is foxgloves! If it is the case then keep it until it is flowered. Just don't let it go to seeds :)

I'm shocked that something I never planted manage to grow in an area i've pretty much given up on. It currently stands at over 5 feet and is flower beautifully.

I'm forever putting effort in and failing that I think i'll just let things be from now on.
