Welcome to June Photo of the Month! The theme this month is Creatures.

The rules are as follows:
  • Please submit your photo in this topic
  • No more than one submission per member
  • The photo must be your own (but not necessarily taken in your own garden)
  • Entries should be made no later than 20th May
  • A poll will be released on 21st May to select the winning photo, and voting will take place until the end of the month

I saw this dragonfly on my patio, sitting on a stake. I told him I'd never seen a red dragonfly before. He/she just stared back at me, for a very long time. So I took several pics.

This one's a little older; not sure if I shared it previously, but it's from when I had the butterfly habitat up the first time around. These were four of the five Monarchs that had emerged that morning. I think I ended up with six altogether that day.
