Oh but this topic generated so much participation, it makes it fun. I figure each photo will get one or two votes and we will need a tie breaker at the end and @LIcenter you should not have felt embarrassed, that hawk is magnificent!

This is one of my journeys. There is a July in the valley. But on top of the mountain there is a spring and spring flowers. It is a miracle to be in summer and spring at the same time.

@LIcenter i never vote for my own photo as a matter of practice, i used to though, but then i discovered it was more fun to vote for the photo i like the best from the other contributions. I am not interested in the winning so much as in the process. As a competitor, i am a real dud
