When I was designing my garden I had birds in mind. I did everything to attract birds and one of the features was to grow as many fruit trees as possible. All the trees have now grown to full size and are yielding. In the last 20 odd years we have lost a few trees but there are enough to attract birds not to talk of squirrels.
This is the season for jack fruits. We have a number of them at the moment. We give them away to an orphanage after keeping some for us and the neighbours
